Artist Upload & Ownership Agreement
1. Scope
This agreement applies when an Artist uploads songs, vocals, lyrics or related artwork to LyricLab, alongside the Terms and Copyright Policy.
2. Ownership and rights warranty
You retain rights to your original contributions. You represent you own or have all necessary permissions for both sound recording and underlying compositions, samples, beats, artwork, featured performers and distribution. Credit or noncommercial intent alone is not permission.
3. Authorization to platform
You grant the limited operating license described in the Terms for works you publish. Private lyric drafts remain private unless you choose to publish them. No automatic transfer of ownership or exclusive rights is created.
4. Collaborations and credits
Obtain collaborator and producer approval where needed and give truthful credits. Resolve splits, royalties, work-for-hire and rights ownership in separate written agreements. LyricLab does not adjudicate ownership merely because a creator uploaded first.
5. Minor artists
Artists ages 16–17 can use free beta creation tools, but may not enter paid licensing transactions or receive payouts through LyricLab until an approved legal/guardian process is implemented.
6. Enforcement
We may remove content on valid copyright complaints, safety concerns or policy breaches. Support: [SUPPORT EMAIL].
